IDENTIQ exists because South African students deserve more than a one-afternoon test and a list of careers. We built a 12-month operating system for identity and direction — the kind of support that changes trajectories.
"Most students leave school having been tested on everything except who they are. That is the single most important gap in their education, and the one we set out to close."
IDENTIQ began with a simple observation. Across private schools, township schools and everything in between, Grade 12 learners were being asked to choose university degrees — and careers — with less information about themselves than the average adult has about their phone settings.
Some schools could afford external psychometrists, who would deliver a thick report and disappear. Most could afford nothing at all. In both cases, nothing continued afterwards. No development. No follow-up. No system.
So we built one. Five validated frameworks. One integrated profile. A twelve-month programme. A dashboard for counsellors. A portal for parents. Pricing that works for public schools. And a pilot cohort willing to try something new.
IDENTIQ is a South African answer to a South African question. Built here, tuned for CAPS subject selection, priced for our schools, and designed for the reality of our classrooms.
